5 Things I like about Teaching Sewing Classes

1. It’s fun, of course.
2. Getting to know some wonderful girls that I would not have spent that much time with otherwise.
3. Allowing the girls to try cutting and sewing on their own and being impressed with what they can do.
4. The smile on their face when they see the final result.
5. Being able to spend time doing something that I love and sharing it with others!

Is there a craft that you would love to learn? I’m currently infatuated with embroidery and will be practicing until I get it just right.

Stuffed Bunny

 

March 1st Class was extremely busy and loads of fun. 7 Girls and 7 bunnies with different embroidered facial features. Here are two finished bunnies from my students. I love how every finished product has so much character and is one of a kind. Class Space

February classes went really well and my Students had a lot of fun. They were all very excited about  my converted basement/ classroom space. Being a mom on a budget, my husband and I put in all of our spare time to accomplish this transformation. Paint, additional lighting, Ikea furniture, and some recycling of the furniture that was already in the room.
